I've never been able to figure out why people love to write their bios in the third person. Russell believes it's because people don't like talking about themselves and think it's less chest poundy (made up word). However, Russell does believe that if you’re going to do it, you’ll need a silky-smooth transition from first to third, like the one you were just lucky enough to experience.
Russell is a Creative Director/Writer who has worked on some amazing brands like Noom, Amazon, Ring, Burger King, BEHR, Public Storage, YONEX, Tim Hortons, Netflix, Google, Crackle, LA Lakers, Universal Pictures, Sony Pictures, Warner Brothers, Toyota, Ole Smoky Moonshine, TBS Network, Naked Juice, Mattel, Belkin, Linksys, Land Rover, Hot Wheels, Haagen Daz and LG to name a few. Quite a few. He has worked on broadcast, social (paid/organic), digital, print, and pretty much everything else under the sun. Oh and he’s even won some awards if that sort of thing is important to you.
Currently, Russell is heading the Growth Creative Team at Noom overseeing paid social, YouTube, TikTok, Snap, CRM, Pinterest, Reddit, Podcasts and everything in between. He has to use both sides of his brain to take complex data, and transform it into performance creative.
Russell has degrees in English and Literature, and much to his parent’s chagrin, another one in advertising (whatever that means). He lives in Carlsbad with his wife, two little girls, two dogs, and a fancy new American passport. Call me.
